Hi, I'm Lisa! I’m so glad you’re here. Developing a good puppy foundation is one of my favorite parts of what I do, because it lets me help little ones grow into confident, happy, well-mannered companions—and I truly love being part of that journey.

A little about me: I’m a Karen Pryor Academy distinguished graduate, a Bergin University Summer Associate graduate, and a CMAC graduate with experience in diabetic and PTSD scent detection, who has been and continues to be a founder of the non-profit Paws That Serve. But beyond the credentials, I’m simply someone who loves dogs, believes in gentle training, and finds joy in helping families feel supported and understood.

My focus is simple: get to know your puppy as the individual they are. I take time to learn their routines, their quirks, their personality, and what helps them feel safe. My approach is gentle, calm, and encouraging—because puppies learn best when they feel secure and connected.

Before your puppy ever arrives, we’ll start with a friendly phone chat. I want to hear your goals, what your puppy is like at home, and how I can support both of you from day one. It’s relaxed and conversational—just a chance for us to connect.

And once your puppy graduates, I’m still here for you. I love staying in touch and offering ongoing tips, advice, and reassurance as your puppy grows. You’re never “on your own” after the program.

If your puppy comes in with health concerns or big feelings—like fear or uncertainty—I meet them right where they are. Every puppy learns at their own pace, just like people do. My job is to support them with patience, understanding, and a training plan built around their needs.

This program is truly a place where wagging tails, small breakthroughs, and joyful moments are celebrated. I’d love to share that journey with you and your puppy.

Pick-up and drop-off may be available for an additional mileage-based fee, depending on scheduling.
